Well, if i can't have winter, at lest i get thunderstorms.

Surveys, and i'm too sleep-deprived to be too filter-y with my answers, so you may get a rare glimpse into my real head. )

Okay. Rant time.

I'm an operator for the irc chat channel of a cable tv network. Last night they were running a marathon of "Cops". Cops has its own chat channel, where a bot asks questions, and the answers the chatters say get on tv. Alright, but see, i operate a DIFFERENT channel for the network. The site for this network is apparenly designed in such a way that people can't tell what link to click to get to the right chat channel. Or they're too stupid to. So we have people streaming in the wrong channel all night, trying to participate in the "Cops" chat.

Every 75 and 90 seconds, i have timers set that say:

THIS IS NOT THE COPS 2.0 CHAT ROOM. THE COPS 2.0 CHAT IS ROOM #cops20 <- DOUBLECLICK HERE OR TYPE /join #cops20 (THE SLASH IS IMPORTANT!) FOR THE COPS 2.0 CHAT ROOM, WHERE YOU GO TO GET YOUR TEXT ON TV.

Literally 80% of the people looking for the "Cops" channel can't do it. They never end up in the "Cops" chat, or immediately after the notice, they ask "how do i get in cops chat" or "is this on tv" or type (and i am absolutely serious when i say i saw about ten people do this last night, and i hadn't even been paying attention very often) "join#cops20". That's not counting the other, equally, or even more incorrect, variations.

Now. As you can see, it clearly states, in caps and bold, to "TYPE /join #cops20 (THE SLASH IS IMPORTANT!)", not to type join#cops20. And that the slash is important. Or alternately, they can simply doubleclick where it says to double click. Now i'm betting most of you readers, when given these instructions could, in fact "TYPE /join #cops20", or doubleclick where instructed to. That is why you are my friends.

Seriously, is the rest of humanity so incredibly stupid that they can't follow simple instructions printed on a screen in big bold letters? Is this typical of the human race? I mean, this isn't just, sort of stupid, this is "i can't believe you have the mental capacity to find which hole you put the food in" Is this why i find so very few people tolerable? No wonder the world is in the state it is today.

I know it might not seem like a big deal to most of you, but this is aggrivating me so much. This is just another in a long, long line of things that show me how stupid humans are. I really feel like... screw people. if everyone is this stupid, i don't need 'em. No one does. They don't have the right to exist. And i'm not being dramatic. I really don't think these people deserve life. I had to go to school. I had to learn how to read, and follow instructions. Screw you for thinking you don't have to. Learn to do something for yourself. You're not mentally disabled, you have no excuse. You're insulting every single one of us who actually uses our brain for something other than storing football stats and trying to get laid. Stop wasting our oxygen and making the cost of food go up driving your stupid giant gas guzzling soccermommobile around town. Oh, and P.S. I hate you.

And those of you smart enough to know i'm not talking about you, know i'm not talking about you.

Thanks for listening. Your reward is a survey, in which you may learn some things about me. Or not. Read it anyway, especially the ones with long answers. )

I woke up for no real reason after like three hours of sleeping, and am too awake to sleep anymore. I have nothing else i feel like doing until i get re-sleepy but play a game, look at the pretty snow, and do surveys. So here you go, a whole lot of pretty good surveys stolen from various sources:

Surveys, in which you learn what i had for breakfast, my ______s of the year, and of the horrible lie you've been told about turkey. )

fifthdream: (ed)

Made Chex Mix last night. Fell asleep fairly early. Drew more today. Got inspired by a podcast to play a game. Made some awesome, fairly homemade macaroni and cheese on a whim. Watched Shin-Chan. Took a shower. Fighting being sleepy. Want to play the game some more.

Why am i awake? i got sleepy at about 1:30am and decided i'd just go to bed. But i woke up four hours later. Ehh, at least i have breakfast: rice with milk, sugar, and butter. Mmmm.

Been meaning to post for a while, but i've been so occupied with fun things, i haven't had time. Or, rather, i felt like doing fun things, rather than posting.

Fun things? Yep. Like having even more stuff ftom the library: Fruits Basket Volume 17 (still need to read 16), and 300 and Jet Li's Enforcer on DVD. (I've also got "Sakuran" and "Nana 2" to watch, now, but not from the library).

I've been doing some cooking. I made corn chowder and croutons the other night, and they were both really good, espceially considering that i had no recipe whatsoever for either. (I mean, croutons aren't hard, but i made the corn chowder by just throwing random ingredients together.) I also made milk chocolate cupcakes, with butter cream frosting and chocolate sprinkles on top.

The cupcakes were part of my Annual Christmas Food Cooking Insanity. It's usually just Annual Christmas Cookie Cooking Insanity, because i make a ton of cookies and sweets, but this year i upgraded it to other food, too. I just had the urge a couple of week ago to make the cupcakes, so i decided to use the excuse of Christmas to have some, they'll hold me over until i get to making the real stuff. I plan on making pecan balls, hello dollies, lemon bars, chex mix (probably a sweet variation), more cupcakes (white, with red and green jello, whipped cream, and sprinkles on top), and chocolate chip, cherry chip, peppermint chip, and gingerbread cookies. I also want to make a deli tray-ish swort of thing on Christmas Eve for the family, with vegetables and dip, and celery with cream cheese and raisins, and some chips and dips and such. Also, i hope to make some peppermint ice cream on Christmas. My sister is making a log cake, too, and maybe something else i can't remember. (Crap, i forgot animal crackers and rice krispies for treats.) I also have bags of Christmas hard candy and a few boxes of candy canes. Mmmm, sugar.

Besides the cupcakes, something else Early-Christmasy is i got Zone Of The Enders in the mail. I would have save it for Christmas, but i had to see if it worked so i could leave feedback on eBay (which reminds me: i should do that soon). I got it Friday afternoon, and beat it last night around 11. Heh. Short, but it was decently fun, and had a nicely demented story. Worth having just for the title song i love, and to keep me from getting too antsy before Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas: if anyone wanted to get me a small present, i'm always begging for LJ paid time. ;P Now's the time when they have that deal again that if you gift someone some paid time, they get extra userpics for free. Maybe that'll sway someone. ;D I just really wanna correct the url to my webpage (which i can't edit without a paid account), and save my old userpics from deletion for another six months. Thanks in advance (and many more to come afterwards), if anyone is so kind. ::bows::

I think i'm caught up on entry-type stuff, so i suppose i'll waste some time with a survey. )

First off: Anyone wanna gift me with a little LiveJournal paid time as an early Christmas present or something, so i can adit the link to my webpage to point to my actual webpage -.-;, and so i can save my old icons from being deleted? I'd be highly appreciative, and thankful, and happy, and all that good stuff. XD

Secondly: Library love! (Haven't done this in a while, as i haven't gotten anything from the library in a while.) I have from the library: Hellsing manga volume 3, DragonBall manga volume 3, and Fruits Basket manga, volume 16. (I typed "volume 3" at first.) On DVD: "Jet Li's Fearless", "TMNT", "I, Robot", and "Minority Report". Lots to watch and read. Hope i can get them done before they're due.

And a survey i filled out last night. )

I might quite possibly be in the worst mood i've been in in a year. Yay for feeling like i'm the butt of some huge, horrible, malicious joke. My stomach is a knot, and there's nothing i can do to make it go away. Can't sleep, and when i can eat, it doesn't make the churning stop. So, to celebrate: Surveys. )

Haven't had a whole lot to post. Weather's getting much cooler, and was rainy last week, and that makes me really happy. Other things do, too.

I played a bunch of Scrabble by myself (yes, it's possible), and have been playing Ragnarok Online on a private server. I've been watching too much TV and anime, and sleeping on a really odd schedule.

See? Not much to say. Mostly keeping to the friends i talk to extremely regularly.

What's a post without a survey? )

"Pokemon Ierukana" is quite possibly the coolest song ever... especially the last one minute and twenty-nine seconds of it... AND it's about Pokemon.

I stole three surveys, which each coincidentally happened to have fifty questions a piece. )

fifthdream: (ed)

Let's see.

Yesterday a Japanese idol i've been trying to friend on MySpace, after a year of not singing on, finally added me back today. Been waiting forever for that.

Today/tonight i basically ate supper, watched a tv show, and was on the phone from basically 9:30pm to almost 5am (which is actually a really good way to waste an evening), with a break for a couple of tuna salad sandwiches and pretzels. Took out some trash. Now i'm screwing around before i go to bed, and eating an apple and pretzels with peanut butter (with iced tea). Good breakfast.

Here are a bunch of surveys filled out mostly last night, and finished up just now after the cut. )

(Written the morning of the 9th sometime.)

So, after watching "King of Kong" and playing video games a little, i got really sleepy for whatever reason, and and decided to take a nap. Now that i'm awake, i feel kinda... meh, and got something to eat (cream of ckicken soup, crackers, a piece of peach dessert pizza, and some iced tea). Now i don't feel like doing anything but sitting around, eating, and doing surveys until i figure out if there's anything i want to do before i go back to sleep.

At least the surveys are pretty unique. )

fifthdream: (ed)

A couple of surveys. Yeah. )

fifthdream: (ed)

Last night i watched a bunch of anime, played some PhantasyStar 4, which turned out to be pretty fun, had fun on IRC on one of those rare times when it's possible to, and Darla called right as i was going to bed, and we talked for like an hour, so i didn't get enough sleep and now i'm tired. ;P So... tonight, it's TV, anime, MUDding and surveys, as long as i can keep myself awake.

A couple of surveys. )

fifthdream: (ed)

How many times will i see someone fall from a train and into the snow on tv this month? It's been three so far.

And i've been filling out surveys and not posting them, but here are three that were kind of interesting. Learn about:

-the weird things i put on grilled cheese sandwiches
-the Hiro-like superpowers that saved me in a car wreck
-the only three yellow things in my bedroom
-and the three "celebrities" i'd allow to buy me dinner and a movie... under the cut. )

Ellegarden added ME to their friends list on MySpace. That makes me feel special. I love Ellegarden.

Survey i took last night. )

Three long surveys stolen from various sources, taken a few days ago. )

...And a couple i filled out a while back. )

fifthdream: (ed)

I woke up from a scary dream and couldn't get back to sleep, so i'm filling out a survey, eating a little, and listening to music.....

Stolen. )
