Wow.

So, on a whim, i turned on the radio. I hear "Lullaby" by the Cure, but it's not Lullaby; there's some guy quietly rapping over it. I would say that someone has sample Lullaby for this song, but i wouldn't even consider it a sample. It's completely unaltered. So i freak out. What is this?

10 minutes of searching: It's a "bootleg" remix of a song by someone called Just Jack called "Snowflakes". Apparently now it's not just a bootleg, since Robert Smith has given his blessing to the song. Not only did i find that info, but i'm downloading the song now. ;D I love the internet.

Not only that, but i found this:
"Digitally Re-masterd Albums - Robert has confirmed that The Cure will be releasing these, starting with Pornography, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Disintegration and Bloodflowers, in 2004. Each will be a 2-cd set, with the 2nd disc containing unrealesed material."

I HAVE to have the "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me"... unreleased material... So cool. Hope they eventually do "Wish" too.

Apparently Robert might also be doing something with ::takes a deep breath:: Blink 182. The only reason i would ever type that band's name in my own journal is because they are associating with Robert, and i must say: Why, Robert? Why? Please reconsider.

Later tonight, Dr. Michio Kaku, one of my personal heroes, will be on Coast to Coast AM. I can't wait to listen to that. Maybe i'll even try to call in. :)

EDIT: I just remembered that i heard "Fascination Street" by the Cure on Coast to Coast AM last night. They're everywhere.

Tomorrow is Halloween shopping. I need to get some razors, too. I think they may have discontinued the ones i've been using for years. Hope i can find soemthing else that works.

I'm kinda hungry. Time to search for some food (and drink), and wait for this download to finish. Then i'll do some MUDding, and watch Adult Swim. :D
