I forgot to mention last night that yesterday i heard the Rasputina song "Sweet Water Kill (The Ocean Song)" playing on the speakers at Best Buy on one of those things they play that promotes new music. How cool is that? Also, the latest issue of AP has a review of their new album. Hey, maybe Rasputina will get heard a bit, now. :)

I'm probably going to go to a comic book convention in Charlotte tomorrow. It's all weekend, but i don't think i need to go more than one day. I haven't been to one of these in years, but i miss them. I miss talking to comic artists, and looking at all the cool rare toys and comics and anime and stuff. I miss meeting random people who are into the same geeky stuff i am. I don't miss not ever having enough money for everything i want, but i go anyway. ;) It'll be nice to do that again.

Apparently, this is also a pretty big convention. The ones i used to go to were usually in banquet rooms in hotels, or in some kind of mid-sized community center or something. This one's at the convention center, and they expect 10,000 people over the weekend. Cool.

They're having a contest where you draw something in 30 minutes and it gets judged and i guess you win stuff. Maybe i'll enter it. :)
