Ceiling Cat Restoreded My Innarnetz.

Well, my internet connection came back. Yes, it just... came back.

I had some some people on a message board helping me. They walked me through a bunch of things and nothing worked. One morning, one guy asked a question about my old modem, and when i hooked it up to check for the answer, after a few minutes, the connection light turned green. One of the guys who was helping me (who works at my ISP, but was helping me out unofficially) was messing with something at the time, but he says he doesn't know what fixed it.

As i posted before, the tech help on the phone had told me my modem was a defective model and i needed a new one. That "defective" modem is what i'm currently using. There was never anything wrong with it. The guy who works at my ISP said it sounded like BS that the modem was defective, that he'd never heard anything about it. Wow. Glad i bought a new modem. -.-; Hopefully i can send it back within thirty days and get the money back.

Anyway, i'm back to not being able to find anything fun to do online, but at a faster speed. Nice. About time.
