Guess who i just talked to on the phone!

GUESS!

I'm serious! Guess!

I talked to HUGO FREAKING WEAVING on the telephone! I talked to FREAKING ELROND. I talked to AGENT FREAKING SMITH on the telephone! OH MY GOD!

Wow, holy crap... I happened to be up a litle late, playing Pokemon Sapphire, and i happened to turn on the radio i heard that he was going to be on doing his promotional interview stuff an hour later. I figured i'd be asleep by then, so i didn't think anything of it. Then they asked for people to call, and i didn't bother, because i didn't know the number, and was sure i wouldn't get through. About 5 minutes after they asked for callers, i decided i'd try. I called the number i thought they said (i wasn't even sure that was it), and got through immedately. I asked if they had enough callers already, and he said he could probably fit a couple of more in. He said they'd call me back when it was time.

A woman called back and told me to call the other number again and tell the screener i was calling about the Matrix. So i did. Got through immediately again, he asked me what i wanted to ask, and he put me on hold.

So i waited a bit. They talked about the Matrix for a few, and it turned out he was runnning a little late for the interview, so the DJ's were all like "We've got some Matrix freaks on the phone who have been waiting 8 DAYS to talk to Agent Smith." Haha. Then they came on, asked me if i could hold on a few more minutes, and if i was excited about the movie.

Then i was on hold a few more minutes. Finally Mr. Weaving came on, they took a question, the DJs asked him some questions and talked for a few minutes then they came to me, the last caller. There were only two callers, and i was one! After i almost didn't bother, and the guy told me he could fit a couple more in. There only WERE a couple. :D Anyway, i asked him my standard-question-that-always-gets-answered-by-famous-people-types-when-i-get-to-ask-them question: "What was the hardest thing about playing Agent Smith in the Matrix movies?" He said basically that he enjoys it so much and that sometimes he and the writers are joking around so much, that he forgets to take the role seriously. :D

Wow, that was amazing. :D I am so hyped about this movie.

And, while i was on hold, i beat Pokemon Sapphire. :D

Other tidbits from this morning:

I learned North Korea has laser weapons and has fired on US planes with them. o.o

I learned that new $20 bills with colors (other than green, black, and white) on them have been released today.
