I am a small black-winged moth caught in the gluetrap of an uncaring society.

Here's a story:

I was reading a LiveJournal community and spotted an icon. It really caught my eye and drew my attention. It was a drawing of (what i first thought to be) a white mouse wearing a leather jacket and dark eyeliner. It looked really cool, so i asked what it was. The "owner" of the icon told me. It was artwork by an artist named Ursula Vernon, and she has a webpage.

This artwork really amazes me. I love it so much. The Gothbat stuff is what my drawings would look like if they came out the way i see them in my head.

Whoa, i'm sure this is totally a coincidence, but:

Last night i saw that VH1C has a request show. So i wrote in and requested "Lullaby" by The Cure. I hadn't heard or thought about this song, or the video, in quite a long time. Months, even... Guess what's playing on VH1C right now. Wow.

And while i'm posting, i have an excuse to mention the rain. It's raining kinda hard, and hasn't let up for hours. It's very nice. :) Smells good, sounds cool, looks cool, yay rain... :)
