Spring Water.
Apr. 1st, 2002 01:56 amSo, here's the story. My job is... er... was?... i'd watch the tv news and write a little synopsis of it, and e-mail it in to the company i work for. Fine. I don't make much money, but at least i made something. Suddenly, one of the news programs i monitored nightly, that was the main part of the money i was making, was cancelled. No warning, no nothing. They didn't announce that they were cancelled Friday night, but when i was watching another news show tonight (that i never watch, for a story they advertised, that, strangely, i never saw actually on the show), at the end they announced that the news i monitored as a part of my work was cancelled. (Well really, they just said "Goodbye" to it, cryptically, with no details.)
I looked on the digital cable listings, and sure enough, the news i monitored is no longer listed...
Now, there doesn't seem to be any other news available that would fit my schedule, or would be easy enough to do without much hassle so... I dunno. I guess i'll write my bosses and ask what i'm supposed to do, or if they have anything i could possibly do, and wait for an answer. ::shrug::
So, really, the point of this is: Does anyone know of a job i could do from home, with or without a computer? I dunno... Any companies have jobs like that available, or is there anything i could do on my own? Any ideas? Anyone?
