I had a nice, long day today.

Got up about 10am, and got dressed really quick and got out the door by 10:30. We (Erica and I) went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I had a big meal which included biscuits and gravy (and apple butter, mmm), lots of bacon, two sunny-side-up eggs, grits, a few cups of coffee, and a glass of cranberry juice (and a few bites of Erica's pancakes). I was nicely full.

Next, we went to the mall to look around (and Erica got a shirt).

Then we went to Best Buy, and since the Nirvana cd was only $11, i got it. I had been debating whether it was worth it, since i have all the Nirvana cd's, but to finish my collection, and have the "new" song, and the "remastered" versions of the songs (you can really hear it on the "Unplugged" songs), and since it was way cheap, i got it. To my surprise, there are odd versions of "Been a Son" and "Pennyroyal Tea" (unreleased, which i like better than the other versions i've heard) on it, so that's cool.

Also on the way out, i saw a Tatu single on the shelf for $2. For those of you who don't know, Tatu are two

I'd heard bits of a couple of their songs, and it has that same appeal to me that J-Pop and K-Pop does; it may not be great, but it's cool in it's own, strange, otherworldly way. Maybe it's just cute. I don't question it. I just had to have it.

After that we went to Target to get some candy for the movie. I got a big bag of gummi strawberry rings (they are SO good) and a box of mini Charleston Chews. I also got an Eyore Pez dispenser.

Then we went to see "Pokemon 4Ever", which was a feat in itself, considering the movie didn't get a wide release, didn't come here for two weeks ater it was released, and mysteriously dropped off the listings once. It was better than i was expecting, actually, and Celebi is way cute. The really bad, dark Team Rocket guy was cool, but he seemed like he fit more in the Zoids Universe than Pokemon World. Erica took her digital camera in and took a bunch of pictures of the movie! Haha, how illegal of her... Some of them came out really cool. ;D

I won't spoil the movie for anyone (haha, like anyone is going to see it), but at the beginning i correctly guessed the surprise that was revealed at the end of the movie. I'm cool.

I didn't eat any candy or much popcorn at the movie (though i drank most of my Mello Yello), because i was too consumed by Celebi's cuteness, Ash and Sammy's homoerotic journey to find love in each other's arms (and the terrible secret of Professor Oak's past), and the dirty, steamy passion springing forth from the loins of Brock and Misty, and their dastarly scheme to abandon Ash at the dock so that they could leave alone together and find each other, in the way that only two blossoming young lovers could. (Yes it's true, Ash loves a boy, and Mistly loves Brock. Why do you think she's always pulling him by the ear away from other girls? She's jealous! Now all is revealed. I'm serious. Go see the movie, and find out for yourself.)

After the movie, we went to Wal-Mart and took pictures of pumpkins. I got some cheap bottles of soda (raspberry and root beer), some caramel apples (which i have been craving for a couple of weeks, for some odd reason), and, for $2, a black ceramic jack-'o'-lantern candle holder, painted neon green on the inside. Awesome. I also bought a can of Cherry Coke and in my quest to fulfill my newly-born urge to collect mass amounts of rubber superballs, i went to the gumball machine. Happiness abounded when, out of the machine, fell not one, but two creamy yellow superballs for a quarter. Yay, me.

Now i will listen to the rest of the Nirvana cd, and watch Dragon Ball and DragonBall Z. :) Tomorrow, i think i'll drag Erica to go see the anime movie "Spirited Away". Sometime in the next couple of days, i want to hit some after-Halloween sales to grab some cheap cheesey decorations and stuff. Rock. :)
