Angel said something. Her voice cracked, and Erik didn't hear. He looked up to see her green eyes staring at him. He felt like he was blushing.
"I hate this." Angel stomped once. "Kyoko and Samm haven't been getting along that great lately. I mean, they get along, but... I dunno, Samm's been kinda keeping to herself, staying at home a lot, not talking to us much, whatever, even before Katherine. But Kiki is this close to giving up on her."
This was a surprise to Erik. He'd been under the impression that she was always out with her friends. At least, that was what she would tell him most of the time.
"God, i'm sorry," Angel squinted as she looked at Erik, "You must really get it bad from her, huh? I don't even see how you can stand her half of the time." Erik just returned her gaze with a blank one of his own. Angela tilted her head, a wondering look on her face. "I really don't get her. I don't get her at all. Sometimes i wonder why we're friends. I'd never treat my friends like that." She reached up and ruffled his hair a little, and stepped away from the door. She sighed again, and started walking down the stairs. "We should get going," she said as she walked towards her car, "We have to find Sammantha."
Erik watched the sun glint along the bottom edge of Angel's dress for a brief moment, and followed after her.
I'm actually working on my "book" again. :o For once, i have some direction for it to go in. Maybe i'll get a bunch of it written, now.
I'm sleepy, but it feels like such a waste to go to sleep when i'm in such a great mood, and when i'm actually writing. Ah, well, i'll write a bit more, and then sleep.
:D
