Inspiration :D "Half Clever, Half Cliche"

Just starting to draw a random picture tonight, and i got brainstorm for a character. Telling my sister about the drawing and the character, she came up with another character, which led to me making up a whole bunch more caracters, and a whole concept for everything and... ::takes a deep breath:: Whew. ANYWAY...

I've always wanted to have "the idea", something i like a lot, that i could build a story on, that i could put in comic form, that would have enough appeal to maybe publish in some way, on the web, or for real, etc. I love this idea, i love the characters, i love the potential for storylines.

I'm not going to tell the idea here. It is Just That Good. I'm just going to say that it's similar to a popular genre of anime, but still pretty unique. A lot of familiar concepts are present, that would be immediately recognizable as anime and manga cliches. There will be references to popular anime culture and other media. At the same time, it completely stands on its own. It will be terribly silly at times, and dark and broody other times. This is going to be fun. It's already writing itself. :D
