"A bizarre rumor that Malawi's government is colluding with vampires to collect human blood for international aid agencies in exchange for food has led to a rash of vigilante violence.

Vampire paranoia has sparked several attacks on suspected bloodsuckers, despite official efforts to kill the rumor.

President Bakili Muluzi told a news conference on Sunday the vampire stories were malicious and irresponsible. "No government can go about sucking blood of its own people," he said. "That's thuggery."

Muluzi said the rumors were also affecting economic activity in four southern districts as agricultural workers stayed indoors. "

Hey man, its dave. I thought I would try to find you and I did. So how are things? Well pretty shitty, I was in a car wreck and I went to the doctor and they gave me fuckin xanax and all these other drugs that fucked me up in the head...well its been 3 months since I've been on anything and I'm still suffering withdrawls ...this fuckin sucks. I had to go to a different doctor and he said it would take at least 7 months to get over. I'm like damn...so I got laid off from driving a train engine and went back to school to get my Bachelors in Graphic Design and take some animation classes. I'm waiting for the settlement from the accident. I'm trying to relearn Photoshop and Illustrator. I'm engaged and I had to move back in with my parents cause I'm so fuckin broke.
