fifthdream: (books)

I'm in between things, and haven't made a post in a while, so...

Still playing Okami. Getting a little "Okay, i've been at this a bit too long", but i think it's winding down. Maybe. I love it, though. I still have Dirge of Cerberus out, but haven't played it since Okami came.

From the library i have: Dragon Ball volume 6, Hellsing volume 6, a short story compilation by Japanese authors, .hack//Legend of the Twilight MANGA volume 2, .hack//Legend of the Twilight ANIME volume 1, and Juno on DVD, which is kind of amazing, since when i ordered it the Sunday before it came out, there were already 44 people who requested it before me, but it came in to my local library like Wednesday, so i guess i got priority. Win.

Like i've mentioned, things have been very... nice lately. And they were especially nice earlier in the evening. Took a nap for a while. Right now, i'm just eating a bit of leftover supper and chips, watching Ashe draw (actually, she just went to watch some of the anime i sent her. She got her birthday stuff today already [i mailed it Saturday] and said she loved it all, so that's awesome), and i think i'll watch Juno now. Maybe play Okami after....

fifthdream: (ed)

I... Yeah.

Lets see. Library gives me: .hack//Legend of the Twilight vol. 2, Dragon Ball vol. 6, "New Japanese Voices" short story collection, and "Balls of Fury" on DVD. Took back "Appleseed".

Spontaneously went shopping yesterday morning. Got some soda and chips, a big bag of assorted candies, a bag of Dum Dums (they're really going nuts with the flavors now, it's awesome), some Lemonhead, some red hots, some Charleston Chew (vanilla), some cheap little sea creature toys, and some squishy rubber animals, a few Birthday presents for Ashe, and some shipping boxes. Then i came home, and got my package from Japan, with all the Japanese snacks in. Wasabi Dorotos own, Green tea Kit Kat is a little plain, strawberry Kit Kat is really good, and sakura Kit Kat is the most awesome food ever invented. It's even better than the chocolate mocha Kit Kat, my previously-favorite candy bar. I also tasted three flavors i'd never tasted in my life yesterday. Win.

Helped Ashe with animation last night/this morning. Neglected sleep again. Paying for it now. Oh well. Aeri called this afternoon for a bit. Yes. -s-

Still playing Okami, which kinda put Dirge of Cerberus on the back burner. But i haven't played today. Been too... occupied.

Speaking of, i have no words for things right now. I'm just... stunned an amazed by things, sometimes... all the time. I haven't been this close to feeling truly happy for years. I feel almost... ashamed about it, like i have no right to feel... good about things. Guess that doesn't change the fact that i do. ::sigh::

fifthdream: (Pi)

I'm sorry, Aeri, i haven't gone to bed yet. Soon, though.

Been a while, huh? This will be incoherent and nonchronological.

Talking to Aeri quite a bit lately. That makes me happy beyond words. And speaking of, i'm relearning the power words have. -s-

Had/have been having a bit of a panicky time of things. I get paranoid about certain people. Why they're there Now, and may be very distant Later. I wonder if it's personal, if they found something better to do, if it is just the simple explanation of being busy, etc. But it becomes hard for me when that's not communicated *to* me. I feel a bit abandoned. It sounds worse than i acutally feel, but it's a smallish, anxious thing i deal with. I *understand*, but i can't quite relax unless i'm reassured, "no, i haven't fogotten you".

So, filling that void is books and games. I had beaten .hack//G.U. Vol. 2: Reminisce, but found a billion things to do afterwards (mostly gathering items, gaining prizes, finishing up a few things, maxing out levels, etc.). I still had some of my favortie events happen after the game was "finished" (Pi's measurements! Age! Real name!). I'd been reading a novel (".hack//AI Buster") and finished it one morning, and in the game that evening, the monster that became a focal point of the entire novel appeared in the game. I was so happy that i read the book, and finished it before that, otherwise it wouldn't have been so cool.

But then, the game was pretty much over. And i found myself facing Lots Of Time On My Hands. Sometimes i have things to do, people to talk to... Sometimes those things dry up, people get busy. understandable. But me, with no one to talk to, and nothing UltraExciting to occupy myself with = that anxiousness i mentioned before. So i was kinda dreading the prospect of getting done with that game, and for various reasons, not being able to get the next one for a week or two.

Luckily i got some books from the library. Dragon Ball Volume 5, Tenchi Muyo!: Sasami Stories, so super cute, with a bunch of 4-panel manga at the end, and .hack//Legend Of The Twilight, the manga that follows after the novel, and takes place in the same universe as the games i'm talking about, just earlier in time. I love manga, and i read a lot, but these books are so good i really look forward to reading them, rather than simply having something cool to read if i have nothing else to do.

(Told you this was going to be all over the place.)

SO. Brings me to today. Had errands to run, trip to the bank, trip to the store, blah blah. Get up after like no sleep, run to Wal-Mart. Grab some soda, some candy (OMG STRAWBERRY WHOPPERS?! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?! YOU ARE HEREBY APPOINTED A NON-SPECIFIC SLOT IN THE LIST OF TOP FOUR BEST CANDIES EVER! KTHX!), a fresh sketchbook which seems to be waiting to be filled with a few ideas i already have, 100 blank dvds (don't have to worry about hard drive space for a while), and HOLY CRAP WTF Wal-Mart has .hack//G.U Vol. 3: Redemption?! And it costs the same as it would online, with shipping?! :O :O ::Buys.:: No waiting for new debit card to arrive in the mail, no waiting for ordering and shipping. No two-to-three weeks without a game i REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to play all the time. I HAD IT IN MY HANDS (well, after waiting half an hour to find someone who could let it out of the case -.-;). Game is mine. Now you gotta see me type out ".hack//G.U Vol. 3: Redemption" a million times, instead of ".hack//G.U. Vol. 2: Reminisce".

Was so excited to find the game, that i forgot to look for/at a few things, but oh well. Went to the bank. Came home. Finished a few things in .hack//G.U. Vol. 2: Reminisce, FLIPPED OUT, and played .hack//G.U Vol. 3: Redemption, talked to Aeri, YAY, and OMG DARLA FROM JAPAN I'M SO JEALOUS. SO yeah, Darla's there, and she can get online, so, awesome, and it sounds like she really loves it. So, win. Oh, and then i talked to Aeri some more, and played .hack//G.U Vol. 3: Redemption some more, and got the really risque/dirtyish/don't-let-your-mom-see desktop picture of Pi that Darla had told me about. I left it on my TV. It's on there right now. Pi is awesome. Also: very large in the chestal region (as you can see in my icon).

And i suppose that gets us up to now, in which i am sleepy, and hungry-but-can't-be-botered-to-eat, and making a post instead of going to sleep.

We have weather. 75 yesterday, 18 tomorrow, straight drop from one to the other over three days. Ice. Snow. Thunder. Win.

And now i'll post this and sleep. I hope.

ALSO: P.S. nine inch nails released a new 36-song instrumental album out of nowhere last night. Go download it. It's what Trent wants.

fifthdream: (ed)

It's been a bit. I'll try to remember what i've done since i last posted.

Had SO MUCH food for Christmas. In fact, i still have tons of it in the freezer. That's cool, though, cuz i'll have stuff to snack on for a while. Speaking of Christmas, besides the Zone of the Enders i got a couple of weeks ago, my sister also got me .hack//G.U. Vol. 1 Rebirth, which i LOVE. Played it so much the last few days. Pi is my new crush. I guess i'll have to get the other two volumes eventually. She also got me some sea creature-themed bento picks and some little soy containers imported from Japan. So cute.

(Speaking of Japanese imports, she also shared with me some green pea-shaped-and-flavored chips, some of the candies that were featured in "Grave of the Fireflies" [saddest, and tastiest, candy ever], and some nut-flavored Bubblicious [o.O].)

And have i mentioned how much i love my library? Dragon Ball Volume 4 manga, and on DVD: War Of The Worlds (the Tom Cruise one), Superbad, The Last Starfighter (which i actually saw in a theater when it was new. :O Was on tv the other day, but i missed it, and felt like seeing it again), and volume one of the anime Samurai 7. So cool.

Umm, thought i had more to say, but i guess i've filled up the last few days with .hack//G.U. I guess i'll post this now, the go stare at Pi for a while.

fifthdream: (ed)

Why am i awake? i got sleepy at about 1:30am and decided i'd just go to bed. But i woke up four hours later. Ehh, at least i have breakfast: rice with milk, sugar, and butter. Mmmm.

Been meaning to post for a while, but i've been so occupied with fun things, i haven't had time. Or, rather, i felt like doing fun things, rather than posting.

Fun things? Yep. Like having even more stuff ftom the library: Fruits Basket Volume 17 (still need to read 16), and 300 and Jet Li's Enforcer on DVD. (I've also got "Sakuran" and "Nana 2" to watch, now, but not from the library).

I've been doing some cooking. I made corn chowder and croutons the other night, and they were both really good, espceially considering that i had no recipe whatsoever for either. (I mean, croutons aren't hard, but i made the corn chowder by just throwing random ingredients together.) I also made milk chocolate cupcakes, with butter cream frosting and chocolate sprinkles on top.

The cupcakes were part of my Annual Christmas Food Cooking Insanity. It's usually just Annual Christmas Cookie Cooking Insanity, because i make a ton of cookies and sweets, but this year i upgraded it to other food, too. I just had the urge a couple of week ago to make the cupcakes, so i decided to use the excuse of Christmas to have some, they'll hold me over until i get to making the real stuff. I plan on making pecan balls, hello dollies, lemon bars, chex mix (probably a sweet variation), more cupcakes (white, with red and green jello, whipped cream, and sprinkles on top), and chocolate chip, cherry chip, peppermint chip, and gingerbread cookies. I also want to make a deli tray-ish swort of thing on Christmas Eve for the family, with vegetables and dip, and celery with cream cheese and raisins, and some chips and dips and such. Also, i hope to make some peppermint ice cream on Christmas. My sister is making a log cake, too, and maybe something else i can't remember. (Crap, i forgot animal crackers and rice krispies for treats.) I also have bags of Christmas hard candy and a few boxes of candy canes. Mmmm, sugar.

Besides the cupcakes, something else Early-Christmasy is i got Zone Of The Enders in the mail. I would have save it for Christmas, but i had to see if it worked so i could leave feedback on eBay (which reminds me: i should do that soon). I got it Friday afternoon, and beat it last night around 11. Heh. Short, but it was decently fun, and had a nicely demented story. Worth having just for the title song i love, and to keep me from getting too antsy before Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas: if anyone wanted to get me a small present, i'm always begging for LJ paid time. ;P Now's the time when they have that deal again that if you gift someone some paid time, they get extra userpics for free. Maybe that'll sway someone. ;D I just really wanna correct the url to my webpage (which i can't edit without a paid account), and save my old userpics from deletion for another six months. Thanks in advance (and many more to come afterwards), if anyone is so kind. ::bows::

I think i'm caught up on entry-type stuff, so i suppose i'll waste some time with a survey. )

First off: Anyone wanna gift me with a little LiveJournal paid time as an early Christmas present or something, so i can adit the link to my webpage to point to my actual webpage -.-;, and so i can save my old icons from being deleted? I'd be highly appreciative, and thankful, and happy, and all that good stuff. XD

Secondly: Library love! (Haven't done this in a while, as i haven't gotten anything from the library in a while.) I have from the library: Hellsing manga volume 3, DragonBall manga volume 3, and Fruits Basket manga, volume 16. (I typed "volume 3" at first.) On DVD: "Jet Li's Fearless", "TMNT", "I, Robot", and "Minority Report". Lots to watch and read. Hope i can get them done before they're due.

And a survey i filled out last night. )
fifthdream: (ed)

My top ten most-listened-to bands, according to last.fm (The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, Utada Hikaru, Anna Tsuchiya, Action Action, ALI PROJECT, Rasputina, Yoko Kanno, Aural Vampire, and Maximum the Hormone), are now all on my top friends list on myspace. (Top twelve, actually, if you also include mc chris and ELLEGARDEN.) I've had most of them for a long time, but i got ALI PROJECT added tonight. Mission accomplished.

Currently borrowing from the library: DVDs of "Pan's Labyrinth" (creepy and disturbing), "Ghost Rider" (not as bad as expected, but... not that great), and "The Golden Child" (awesome and uderrated. One of my favorites. Makes me want to see "Big Trouble In Little China" again); DragonBall and Hellsing manga, both Volume 2.

fifthdream: (Default)

I played Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction instead of showering tonight. So what? I can shower when i wake up.

Quick library stuff-i-have list: Hellsing manga volume 1, Dragon Ball manga volume 1, "The Hidden Blade" Japanese Samurai movie on dvd, "Children of Men" dvd, and a Kim Harrison book ("Dead Witch Walking"). I also still have Fruits Basket 12 and 13, and Hikaru no Go volume 1, but i read those....

And a survey stolen from DoomPlague.... )

Back to fondlingleveling my assassin...

fifthdream: (books)

Okay, see, enough of this 60-degree weather followed by ice storms that cut off hundreds of thousands peoples' power for a week, repeat. The nice fluffy whiite snow that is covering everything right now is what makes me happy. That's the Winter i miss so much.

Not much to write about other than the broken-record of "Darla called me a bunch the last few days", "playing Final Fantasy XII (neglecting my blog about it, but i'll get back to that soon)", and "reading lots of manga/watching lots of movies" that seems to be my life, and the contents of my journal most often.

Speaking of... Library love: Right now i have out Naruto volume 7, hardcover. Hardcover manga? Does this exist? Apparenlty so, since i have it. I also have Psychic Academy volume 9, and Fruits Basket... 11 maybe? 12? I have a Psychic Academy DVD, too (Mew = so much <333), and "Dave Chappelle's Block Party". From the library. Own.

I also have apple cherry juice which makes me smile.

fifthdream: (Nana Anime - blah blah blah)

Hmm, i'm.. tired tonight. Didn't get to sleep until late, despite getting none of the things i planned to last night (drawing, mostly) done. Less TV than planned (Earl and Office were reruns) means maybe i can get to sleep at a decent hour tonight. Then i can catch up on what i need to tomorrow. Sounds like a plan.

Darla called a couple of times tonight, which was nice. I acquired and listened to a bunch of The Candy Spooky Theater, a Japanese spooky-themed kind of rock band (imagine Tim Burton and Halloween had a rag doll of a baby in an old abandoned carnival in the middle of Tokyo, and it grew up and became a band. That's kinda half as bizarre as they are). None of my library books or cds i got from the library (traditional Chinese and Japanese music. Haven't listened to all of them, yet) are due tomorrow, so i don't have to worry about that. And i got to play with two of the cutest rats ever, earlier. So today has been kinda pleasant, even if i'm too tired to realize what i'm typing about, or why i'm posting this. But i'm trying to post a little more, even if it's entirely unintersting, maybe even to myself. ;P

Oh, and just because i've meant to do this for myself, a list of anime i have, but need to watch still, just for my own personal use, because i keep forgetting what i have. )

Okay, time to watch Smallville.....

Acquired: An awesome lamp, with five adjustable "goosenecks" at the top, and you can turn on two, three, or all five of the bulbs at once. Sits nicely at the head of my bed, and is perfect for reading in bed. Now i don't have to get up and turn off any other lights before i go to sleep.

Also: "Cocoa Cats" Halloween Peeps, a bag of peanut butter Hershey's kisses, art/mailing supplies, and a cheapo universal remote, because my VCR remote stopped letting me turn up the volume on my TV, again, and i don't feel like fixing it, again.

The library wants me: "V for Vendetta" DVD, a volume of Ultimate X-Men, two volumes of Tsubasa, two volumes of Cromartie High School, and a volume of Fruits Basket.

Lunch: sandwich, pretzels, apple juice, and Peeps for dessert.

My review for "Zardoz" got accepted on IMDB. I don't know why that amuses me so much.

And, in addition to Samurai 7, Chobits, Fruits Basket, Rec, Girls Bravo, Nana, and .hack//Roots, i now have Karin to watch. -.-;

Speaking of watching, the brilliant people-who-schedule-things-on-TV decided to put four of like the seven things i watch on TV on at the exact same time on Thursdays this season. So freaking lame. Good thing i have two VCRs. -.-; -.-; -.-;

Just found an old drawing that i stated and never finished, but i REALLY like it, so i'm going to work on it tonight.

Squirtle.

I got a free, legit copy of Poser 5, wich is a 3-D modelling program. I can use it to screw around with anatomy and such, and pose figures to help me draw. Kinda awesome.

Library gave me that Psychic Academy volume 4 i needed, so i can read it, and volumes 5 and 6, which i already have. But it took back Fruits Basket 2 and 3, since someone else had them on hold. I'll have to re-order those soon.

Lots of TV to watch tonight, almost all of it anime: An hour of the new season of Pokemon, a Pokemon special, Fantastic Four (not sure i like it, yet), Naruto, Bobobo... Trinity Blood and Bleach start tonight... and Eureka 7.

Sumo.

Not much went on this week. Got a little sick (mostly to my stomach) for a couple of days. Got a call from Darla last night. I've been getting into some Dreamcast shooter games (you know, little space ship versus a massive wave of enemy spaceships/mechs/gun turrets/missiles/millions of tiny bullets), even though i suck at them. Read lots of comic and manga. Helped name some baby rats Chii and Ren. And um... the regular boring things.

Speaking of comics and manga: i got three more volumes of X-Men stuff, and a couple of Psychic Academy (though it was 5 and 6, and i'm still waiting for 4 -.-;) from the library. I'm falling behind again. I have four Fruits Basket to get through, too.

Monday, i'm quite probably going to the Japanese festival in St. Louis. Should be fun if it's not too hot and i don't wear myself out.

fifthdream: (books)

Haven't done this in ages. Don't know why.

Library Love, Currently: A few X-Men graphic novels, including a huge "New X-Men" hardcover. "Kingdom Come", four volumes of Fruits Basket, a volume of Psychic Academy, "Ghost World" movie and graphic novel, and "Geisha, A Life" by Mineko Iwasaki.

Recently: That All-American Chinese Geisha Movie, a "Beakman's World" DVD, a billion X-Men books, Psychic Academy volume 1, Girls Bravo volume 1, Othello (a manga, too) volume 1, DearS volumes 1 and 2, and probably some other things i'm forgetting.

Future: I plan on getting the very few X-Men graphic novels the library has available that i haven't read yet, getting the rest of Psychic Academy and Fruits Basket (around 14 volumes each) over time and finishing them, (re-)starting Ranma 1/2 and reading all of it (34 volumes!), and i have "Silent Hill", "UltraViolet", and "V for Vendetta" on order. Yay for seeing movies i wouldn't pay to see.

I'm going to have to find some more-serious manga or comic series to break up all this (semi-)comedy i'll be reading for months. (X-Men has been good for that, but i've almost read them all.) Any suggestions?

Now for that Nana and sleep...

fifthdream: (books)

I now have a DVD burner, courtesy of my sister, who got the idea and decided it was worth gifting me one in exchange for my burning her a bunch of anime so she doesn't have to sit at her computer and watch it (or obtain it herself). I had it installed in just a couple of minutes. I've tested it out by doing everything with it but burn an actual watchable DVD. But that's next, after i get some stuff done on this computer. I'll burn the DVD while i sleep, since it will take forever. (Anyone have some spare RAM lying around they'd like to donate?) It also helped me finally clear a lot off this hard drive, which has been living off the same two or three gigs of space that kept filling up every few days. (I could use a bigger harddrive someday soon, too. -.-;)

"GOD DIVA" from the .hack//Roots OST may possibly be one of the best songs ever crafted by human beings. I can't stop listening to it. Heavy beats, opera vocals, guitars, beepy electronic noises, violins, and cute female Japanese vocals, with a massively, insanely catchy chorus... SO good.

And because i've been neglecting my library reports: I've been reading DearS, and decided to get into Ultimate X-Men, since i got one volume and it was decent. I have two volumes of Bleach again, and this time i am determined to read them. As for movies, i have and had Aeon Flux, Steamboy, Ghost in the Shell, and now Unbreakable. I've been wanting to see that one again lately.

Speaking of wanting to see, "Shaolin Soccer" is on tv today. I'll finally get to see it. And i think i might be seeing Superman Monday. I'm curious. I still don't get why Superman is always a skinny dorky guy with bad hair in movies, and i never really liked Superman until he became semi-tolerable in WB cartoons (i was a Spider-Man kid), but i wanna see this, to see if they can make me like him.

fifthdream: (books)

Library gives me: Neil Gaiman's "Death: The Time Of Your Life" (yeah, i'm a slacker and never got to it), and "The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish", which came with a CD of Neil reading it, which i didn't expect. I got a book about Neil Gaiman. I also got some of the original Hamtaro storybooks. Shhh. It's cute. I still have a bunch of Fushigi Yuugi to read and "1984" to watch.

That berries and cream Dr. Pepper is really good.

I've been playing lots of Tetris with Darla. It's fun.

fifthdream: (panties)

I heard the ice cream van today.

I also got my package from Japan. Dragonfly chopsticks, cola-flavored candy, and Black Black gum. J-list also sent a tiny ad/catalog in a pack of tissues (o.O), and a page from "Kera" magazine as packing material (it has pictures of cute girls wearing their underwear on the outside, some cell phone pictures of pets, and some drawings). Bonus.

Speaking of stuff from Japan, this weekend i apparently won an Engrish t-shirt from a podcast that comes out of Japan, assuming they write and ask for my email address as they said they would. Awesome.

I made lemon squares the other day, from a recipe on the bag of sugar. I happened to have all the ingredients. They owned it like nobody's dirty business. Seriously. I'll be making those again.

There are baby bunnies running around outside. They are so insanely cute. And lots of birds are making lots of nests.

I got unstupid last night and configured things to make my torrent client a bazillion times faster. Now a gig doesn't take four days to download, more like four hours. Nice.

"A perfect world needs a perfect assassin"? Wouldn't a perfect world not need an assassin at all?

I've got movies from the library: "Mirrormask", Neil Gaiman + Dave McKean = <3, "1984", the best book-to-movie ever, and "Constantine", which i wanted to see again for no particular reason. It has extra footage.

Speaking of movies, has anyone seen "Silent Hill"? Is it worth paying for?

I need to stay awake long enough to eat supper. I didn't sleep enough today; i was drawing.

And that's it for my i-saved-it-up-long-enough-to-almost-make-one-full-post post. Now here's a survey.

Stolen from Aeri. )

fifthdream: (ed)

Busy with fun things again: Got "Howl's Moving Castle" from the library, and the Haruki Murakami book i didn't finish last time before it was due. Still have some of the Speed Racer DVD left to watch, too. My favorite episodes are next: "The Race Against The Mammoth Car".

I found "Monopoly Star Wars Edition" for the PC a while back. I bought it many years ago, and at that time, the PC i had ran it really slow. I don't know that i was actually able to finish a game. But i installed it last night, and it will play on this PC, so that's something to waste time with. I also reinstalled Majesty Gold Edition. I love Majesty for some reason, when i usually can't deal with rts-type games. Maybe it's because there's not as much insane micromanagement in Majesty as there is in some rts games.

G4tv is doing this thing starting next month called Star Trek 2.0, where they show episodes of classic Star Trek and have a frame around the edge of the screen with trivia facts, tallies of things like how many times Spock says "illogical" or a Red Shirt gets killed, and live chat. Seems like a kind of fun concept, and it'll probably get me to watch the series again. Well, since i'm an Op in G4's regular chat room, i got invited to the new Star Trek chat room and i'm an Op in there now, too. I have no idea how the live chat thing is gonna work yet (i can't imagine a live chat being broadcast on tv without some heavy moderation going on), or how involved the Ops will be in it, but it should be fun, as long there's no frantic comment-collecting involved. Ehh, it might still be fun anyway. In any case, it's kind of cool to be involved in a small way in a classic Star Trek revival kind of thing. Wait, did i just say "cool" and "Star Trek" in the same sentence? I must be a geek.

Anime, video games, Speed Racer, Star Wars AND Star Trek in the same post... This calls for the Geek Out tag.

fifthdream: (canti)

Random stuff:

I got a couple of DVDs from the library: Alien Vs. Predator and Speed Racer Collector's Edition Volume 1. Alien Vs. Predator i saw in a theater, but my sister made me want to see it again. Speed Racer was the second anime i ever watched as a kid (after Battle of the Planets). Yes, it's old school, and pretty crappy, but it counts as anime. Its influence helped to twist and warp me into the thing you see before me today, so it's important to me. Plus the Mach 5 is still the coolest car ever invented. I really had to get the Speed Racer DVD(s, the second one is on hold) from the library, though, because Darla kept singing the damn Speed Racer song over and over and it just planted the seed.

Speaking of movies, i watched Nana. Good movie, if only to be able to look at Mika Nakashima for two hours. (Click and click.) I'm considering going to see "V For Vendetta" sometime, too.

And speaking of anime, two of my favorite series, Samurai Champloo, and FullMetal Alchemist have now ended, and Ghost In The Shell: Stand Aloine Complex, 2nd Gig is ending soon. After that, there is no anime i watch regularly still on tv (unless you count Pokemon and Naruto, and i don't). It's going to be weird to not have really good anime that i look forward to watching on TV regularly, unless something new is coming on soon. I guess i'll get to watching the rest of Fruits Basket and Chobits.

I sent a package today, and i kinda feel like cleaning off the bookshelf in a bit. If i get that done, too, i'll feel like maybe i sort of accomplished something today.

I woke up with Utada Hikaru's "Traveling" stuck in my head, so i'm listening to that on repeat, and i'm going to listen to Japundit's 14th Podcast after i post this.

Pearl pasta makes me oddly happy, especially if it shares a bowl with croutons.
